Just turned 18 in VA. I have a court date tomorrow for my license ceremony. Do I need a parent?

I just turned 18 in july and got my license in june. The court paper says that to get my hardcopy for my license I need to have a parent there with me. But since I'm over 18 now do I still need my parent to come?Just turned 18 in VA. I have a court date tomorrow for my license ceremony. Do I need a parent?
No, you are now 18 yrs old. No parent required.Just turned 18 in VA. I have a court date tomorrow for my license ceremony. Do I need a parent?
I would go ahead and bring a parent. You don't want to get there and they don't give you your license because your parent wasn't there. If mom or dad can come just bring one and it only lasts like 30 minutes if that.
