If you are emancipated then the parent doesnt need to go to begin with.
I think they would have to point out to the teacher that they are their own guardian. Possibly have to go to the principal's office for a note as proof. Then the teacher would have an after school discussion with the kid.
I don't think you are supposed to be able to get emancipated unless you can prove yourself responsible enough to take care of yourself. And a responsible person can obviously handle stuff like this on his / her own.
As a side note, I think many teachers would end up feeling sorry for the kid and going easy on them since they clearly have so many responsibilities.
She'll go to her own conference as her own parent, nobody is responsible for her/him so they don't have to go.
