My baby was using similiac advanced but, it costs so much so we decided to switch formula.
What are lipids ?Is Parent's Choice Milk Infant Formula with lipids DHA %26amp; ARA is this the same as Similiac Advanced?
It is closer to Enfamil...but they are all just as good for the baby...and made with almost the same ingredients. I used it many times with my children when they were small, and we ran out of the WIC formula. I went to Walmart and bought this, because it was much cheaper. They were fine with it. They were on Prosobee and I used the Parent's Choice Soy. That is before all this Lipil stuff. Is Parent's Choice Milk Infant Formula with lipids DHA %26amp; ARA is this the same as Similiac Advanced?
They are very close ingredient wise, with only small differences. My son, however, noticed the difference immediately and we had to switch back to the expensive stuff. One of the formulas we tried, not sure it was parent's choice, had to be heated, too, which was different than the name brand. Here is a link that explains the lipids DHA and ARA, which are considered essentials for your baby's growth and development.

I was very happy w/parents choice formula. My now 5 year old son was on their soy formula , and hes a big strong boy!
They are all very similar in nature due to FDA guidelines. The ingredients vary by company. Luckily for us our Daughter liked the Parent'sChoice just fine. Be sure to sign up on Similiacs website for coupons it will help with the cost some.
No, they are not the same. Sorry but you get what you pay for.. My daughter is on Similac Advance and my friend had her baby on Similac Advance as well but switched to the Parents Choice to save some money. The first thing I noticed is how watery it is even when mixed right and the powder does not dissolve as well as Similac Adv does. The baby ended up with pretty bad constipation for a few days also. My friend ended up switching back to Similac Advance. It was funny, she wanted to save money on the formula yet her and her husband eat out almost every night of the week costing them four times what the formula does. Didn't make much sense to me.
