Do u have to go with a parent to the doctor if ur underage?

My gf is 16 years old and she is having some peeing problems. I want her to go to the doctor but we heard that her mom has to go but we dont want them to come cause they will find out we have had sex. Can she go with a 18 year old friend or family memberDo u have to go with a parent to the doctor if ur underage?
How is her mother going to find out if her 16 year old daughter has had sex unless the girl tells her or unless the 16 year old is pregnant? Whether a parent goes with a minor child depends upon the state where you live, some states allow a minor child of the age of 16 to go alone some requre parental presence. If you live where a parent is required maybe you should have thought twice about getting involved in something the both of you are obviously to immature to handle.Do u have to go with a parent to the doctor if ur underage?
no u can go on your own
the doctor is not allowed to tell the parents any information if the

minor asks them not to
When I was 16 and 17 and finally driving on my own I went to the dentist, doctor, and dermatologist alone whenever I had an appointment. If there were papers that needed to be signed by a legal guardian all they did was give them to me to give to my parents, or they mailed them.

I'm not aware if things like this differ by state, but I'm not sure why they would.

Also, if a legal guardian has to be present at the office with you, it is perfectly acceptable (and normal) for the parent to wait in the waiting room. Someone else mentioned on here as well: all information presented to a doctor has to be kept confidential under law.
she has to go with a legal guardian. if she's having sex she should probably get on birth control anyway.
she is pregnant case closed when belly is big go to hostipital make sure it has been 9-12 months
