I'm going to leave my parent's house?

I live in California. Is there welfare for single people in California? I assume I could live in homeless shelters for a while. I'm not really sure how I'm going to eat though. I refuse to take psychiatric medicines. Does San Francisco provide welfare?I'm going to leave my parent's house?
How about grow up, take medicine that you need, get yourself a job to save up money and find housing and pay for your food and needs and not think that welfare will take care of you as you are using your computer in your warm home to write this. Trust me, as bad as you think you have it now, and it may be awful I am not saying that, will not hold a candle to living on the street or in a shelter and once you are in that life, with that mindset, you will never get out of it.I'm going to leave my parent's house?
I guess you can apply for food stamps, but if you are 18 or older and single, there is no welfare, as in monetary help. Welfare is for a parent with children, the children are the ones who get the help (theoretically).
