In new jersey, when you turn 17 you get your provisional license. Does a parent have a right to take it away?

My parents don't like me too much, and i feel like when i get my license they are going to try to take it away from me. Is this allowed? In new jersey, when you turn 17 you get your provisional license. Does a parent have a right to take it away?
Your parents love you, but driving is a privilege that you have to earn. Your parents can take it away if you have not earned it.In new jersey, when you turn 17 you get your provisional license. Does a parent have a right to take it away?
Technically, they may or may not have the actual legal right to ';take'; your provisional license. While I don't know the exact law in NJ, unless they have to sign and be responsible for you to get the provisional license, nothing would then stop you from going back to the state and getting a new one.

However, if you live in their house and are expecting to drive one of their cars, they do have the right to eliminate that possibility. Therefore, what good is a license if you don't have access to a car.

Look, either you suck, your parents suck, or all of you suck. My guess would be like most families, the latter. What I mean is that you all need to work with each other on the issues in your relationship such that they will not want to punish you but will actually look forward to when you can drive yourself. Find a trusted adult that you can discuss this with so that you can improve your relationship and thus your lives. Otherwise, the next year or two are going to be even worse.
I'm assuming you don't have your own car, don't have your own insurance, don't pay room and board, only work part time, shall I go on? What it means to be a dependent is that you are...dependent on someone. As their minor child, they have the right to withhold many privileges from you. You say your parents don't like you...chances are you're reading this all wrong. Perhaps they are worried for you because of something you're into, or maybe they don't think your friends are a good influence. Maybe they love you enough to let you make your own mistakes. Dislike you...I doubt it very much. Give them a chance, and leave them an opportunity too give you one as well. it might just work out for all of you.
depends on what kind of discipline that they use if this is necessary to take your license for safety reasons then that is good to do
yes.

who is buying your insurance?
