18 because you have to be an adult. but i wouldnt plan on droping out unless you want to work at mc donalds for the rest of your life.
Call your local school board, what kind of future do you hope to have watching t.v and playing video games all day, who is going to pay the electric bill and the house payment while you set there and do nothing??
I would not drop out of high school. You need to get your diploma which employers prefer applicants to have.No matter how frustrating high is dont give up your chances of finding a good job through lack of education.
it is 17 here.
hii

i think that u got to be 16 at the moment but the rule is getting changed to 18. (cant remember when it changes though)
16 to drop out 18 with no parent permission
It varies from state to state. However, your future income level decreases dramatically without a high school diploma.

Nowadays many employers want, not only a high school diploma, but also some additional schooling, such as technical training (used to be called vocational-technical school- - now it is usually called a technical college or institute).

Don't sell yourself short. Unless you want to be limited to sales clerking or menial labor your entire life, stay in school. Yes, high school can be a lot of stress, but in the long run, your adult life will be better off for sticking it out.
Each state has their own laws on this.Call your state dept of education to ask.

In GA, you can quit at 16 but if you do, you will have your driver liscense taken away or can't get one.
