Is It Legal For a 14 Year Old or any child to Drive A Vehicle on Property owned By a parent with there permission.
Just curious, Theres not much of a major reason. Is It Legal For a 14 Year Old to Drive A Vehicle on Property owned By a parent.?
Yes.
But insurance probably will not pay if the 14 year old runs into something. Is It Legal For a 14 Year Old to Drive A Vehicle on Property owned By a parent.?
Yes I own 40 plus acres and my children and now grandchildren are taught to drive as soon as their feet reach the gas and brakes
We start them out on rider mowers so they are comfortable with maneuvering and then onto a car then truck.
Farmers have their kids driving machinery at 12. and yes they can even take the tractor on the road to the next field
That's legal in my state if the private property is not normally accessible to the driving public (ie: a parking lot or commonly used trail).
Each state and country has different laws. In my state, a license is required only if one wishes to drive on a public highway.
I would guess anybody could drive with permission on your parents property.
If the property is owned by the parent, what is wrong with this country if even a 3 year old can't drive on it?
Not unless you somehow got a drivers license or permit
It is ignored here.
To drive a vehicle you need a license.
If you do not have a license you are driving illegally.
The chances of you getting a ticket on private property are slim to none.
The deputies Ignore it around where I live.
Does not make it legal.
10 year olds drive golf carts on all the streets here.
Treated like a kid on a bike.
It is against the law.
They never give tickets for it.
