if children are anchor babies, they should not be allowed to petition for parents. too many illegal aliens are using their children for this purpose. Age is 21.
Not what SHOULD be the age - but what IS the age.

that age is 21.

the law is the law.
The immigration definition of a child is unmarried under 21. There is your answer.

21 years old
The child must be an american citizen. If they are a citizen then the child can be any age. THe american immigration systems main goal is to reunite families. Visas first go to parents of children (or the other way around), spouses, brothers and sisters, then extended family.
