I'm 21 and I moved back in with my mother a year ago so I could go back to school. She's filing bankruptcy (chapter 7) and I know her stuff is at risk of getting sold, but what about mine? I have a computer, a car, and quite a few other things of value that I paid for with my own money.If my parent files bankruptcy, is my stuff in jeopardy?
Is the car title in your name? If yes, I think you are fine.

If it's not on her credit, you have no worries.
