Are there any laws in NY State that would hold a parent responsible for the death of intoxicated child?

when they provided the alcohol and the child drove and died?


I have only found criminal negligence which is a felony.

I couldn't find any law dealing with this exact situation ... but.





In NY if a bar serves a person to the point of intoxication and they have a crash on the way home, the bar can be held liable for damages, even for damages to the drunk's property and injuries!
